Powering the Lower Thames Crossing with Syntech ASB
We’re incredibly proud to feature in this film from the Lower Thames Crossing team.
This project represents more than just infrastructure, it’s a blueprint for how major construction can actively contribute to a lower-carbon future.
Our biofuel, Syntech ASB, produced from recycled used cooking oil sourced across the UK, is already helping to power the scheme, delivering up to 93% fewer emissions compared to traditional diesel. But the impact goes far beyond carbon.
This is about:
- Creating skilled, future-focused green jobs right here in Kent and the UK.
- Building a circular economy from waste into resource.
- Supporting the energy transition as we drive forward to Net Zero 2050.
- Demonstrating that sustainable construction is not only possible, but scalable today.
We’re especially proud to be a local business supporting a nationally significant project, proving that innovation at a regional level can drive meaningful change across the UK.
A huge thank you to National Highways for spotlighting the role of sustainable fuels in shaping the future of infrastructure.
